Max Factor Max Effects 33 Lollipop + Maybelline Color Show Polka Dots Chalk Dust

Quick post. Easy mani which gets tones of compliments, even from strangers!!!

Layers:
- 1 x Total Action 8 in 1 Intensive Nail Conditioner by Eveline (Brilliant!)
- 2 x Max Factor Max Effects Mini Nail Polish in 33 Lollipop
- 2 x thin layers of  Maybelline Color Show Polka Dots in Chalk Dust
- 1 x Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat

The Max Factor Max Effects Mini Nail Polish in 33 Lollipop is brilliant, is super opaque, 1 layer would be enough but I used to put two just in case, dries quickly (like all the Mini's from Max Factor) and last for up to 6-7 day without major chipping even without the top coat. The shine of it is not the best but with a nice top coat it's ok.
Maybelline Color Show Polka Dots in Chalk Dust is a dupe for Hard Candy Black Tie Optional or L'Oreal Color Riche Nail Top Coat Confetti. The Chalk Dust is one of my very favorite effect top coats I own (and I do have quite a few). Dries in seconds, you can add up as many layers as you want for more dramatic look, I found 1-2 more then enough. The thing I don't like about it is how difficult is it to remove it. It takes ages, you need to used super strong cheap acetone nail polish remover and you end up with white and black dots all over your hands. But considering it is kind of a glittery top coat (without the holographic sparkly effect) I would expect it to be more difficult to remove than an average non-glittery nail polish. A plus that it lasts up to 8-9 day, and even if chipped a bit in the end, it is still not really noticeable due the dots.
