Revlon Top Speed Jaded + MUA Frozen Yogurt

Quick post today. Really cute design, very summery but without pinks/corals because they are present everywhere at the moment, so I'm getting a bit sick of them.

So the layers are:
- No7 So Smooth base coat
- 2 layers of Revlon Top Speed in Jaded (the pistachio green one) or 2 layers of MUA Frozen Yogurt (the purple-ish one)
- dots were made with the same nail polishes
- 1 layer of glittery top coat from Coral 003 (no name, from a Polish nail polish company, I got it from an online Polish shop)
- 1 layer of Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat

The Coral glittery top coat is great, the holographic glitter is very fine, the consistency is not very thick, it is a dupe for a China Glaze Fairy Dust or OPI Yule Love This Silver. I personally think it is slightly thinner (less glitter bits in it) than China Glaze or OPI but it cost something like 1.50 quid (comparing to 6+ pounds for CG or OPI) and it dried super fast so I can put as many layers as I want so can't complain really. I do own a similar top coat much much thicker (in terms of the glitter concentration) than that one but I've got just a bit left, and because I got it years and years ago in Poland and I can't read the company name anymore I assume it will be very hard to purchase it again so I'm trying to use it only on very special occasions.

Kolejne warstwy to : baza - No7 So Smooth, 2 warstry Revlon Top Speed kolor Jaded (pistacjowy) albo 2 warstwy MUA kolor Frozen Yogurt (niebieskawo-fioletowy), jedna warstwa brokatowego lakieru z firmy Coral (numer 003, niestety nazwy brak) + jedna warstwa Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat.

Kropki zrobiłam tymi samymi kolorami naprzemiennie używając kopytka do kropek.lakier brokatowy z firmy Coral mogę polecić wszystkim z pełnym przekonaniem.

Revlon ColorStay in Provence + striping tape

So today's design is with Revlon ColorStay in Provence... I bought it in a pound shop and it is prob the best nail polish I bought there ever... I love this it and will definitely buy it again... So for this design I used a No7 So Smooth base coat, 2 coats of Revlon ColorStay in Provence, holographic striping tape in magenta (which I got from ebay, it was sent to me from China, took ages but was great value for money) + one coat of No7 Stay Perfect top coat.

Using striping tape is very easy, much easier than trying to pain the straight thin stripes with a brush (even a tiny one). The striping tape I have, has got a glue layer underneath so I can wait for the base colour nail polish to dry what makes the whole striping tape experience much easier as even if you don't stick the tape properly for the first time, you can take it off and try again without damaging the layer of nail polish underneath. So the striping tape with the top coat on the top lasted for about 4 days, it would last for longer but I got bored with it. On the last day I noticed that the edges of the striping tape started to come off a bit, nothing what a bit of the clear top coat wouldn't fix, although I was bored with it already so removed everything.

Dzisiaj stylizacja z lakierem Revlon ColorStay Provence w roli głównej.

Ciate Bon Bon + Bundle Monster

So today another design with Ciate Bon Bon as a base colour. Sorry about the different lengths of the nails, it is not my today's manicure, it is an old one, as I have quite a few designs stored on my PC, I wanted to upload them first just to have them all in a one place.

This design was made using 2 coats of a Ciate Bon Bon + Barry M Instant Nail Effects Foil in Silver used with Bundle Monster stamping plate. Although the Barry M Foil Effect Silver is not necessarily made for stamping, it works with Bundle Monster pretty well, and I can easily recommend it to anyone. I do own a black and white Konad stamping nail polishes, but as they are quite pricey, comparing to a 'normal' nail polishes, and I don't really do stamping that often, I decided to invest only in a basic black and white Konad nail polishes and experiment with the other polishes I have in my collection.

I think this design is great, not to girly, not to serious, quite quick to make, and quite eye catching. I was thinking that it would be a great design for a bride/wedding if white/pearl base is used instead of Bon Bon and maybe some crystals added just for a bit of dazzling.

Ciate Bon Bon

Today's design is very basic although I always get a lot of compliments when wearing this. It is quite simple and neutral, but two glittery nails (I mean 2 per hand) are making it a bit stand out.
The main colour is a Ciate Nail Pots in Bon Bon (it was a freebie from Marie Claire magazine, love it!) - 2 coats, and the glittery top coat is an Essence in Circus Confetti - 2 coats as well. I can recommend both nail polishes, together they last for about 4 day without any top coat and up to 7-8 days with a No 7 Stay Perfect top coat (which I also used in this case).

Photo 1 and 2 were taken in a natural light when 3 and 4 were taken with flash. Sorry for the resolution/quality, as I said, I didn't manage to buy a decent camera yet, hopefully this will change soon.
