Everyone loves cupcakes!!! - nail tutorial !!!

Today another tutorial, this time for a cupcakes nail design which I personally love... It's fun, it's different, its summery and its easy so everything what I like the most :)))

Shall we? :)))
Btw, Let all the layers from each step dry before you proceed to the next step.

1. Layer the base coat and 2-3 layers of the base colour. I chose white nail polish from Konad (thumb), 040 Provence by Revlon (index, middle and ring fingers) and 185 Sweet Tart by Revlon (little finger).

2. Do sort of a french tips for on the index and ring finger choosing the colours you want for the liners (papers) for your cupcakes. I chose again Sweet Tart by Revlon (index finger) and Pistachio Ice-Cream by Mua for the ring finger. If the nail polish you chose is not fully opaque try to go for two thin layers rather than one thick, you don't want to build up a zillion layers of the nail polish on your nail. Also don't worry if they are not super straight, the top of them will go under cupcake frosting anyway.

3. Add up some stripes in matching colours to make the cupcakes' liners look real and crinkle, don't worry about them being super straight again as in reality they're not, just have fun with it. To do that I chose Graffiti by Max factor (ring finger) and Intense Fuchsia by Extreme Nails Wibo (nail polish brand from Poland).

4. I also added some stripes on the little finger using again Intense Fuchsia nail polish, to make it look all like a pink crinkle liner.

5. Time for cream frosting!!! Firstly, to make sure the bottom of the frosting is wavy, use the largest dotting tool and just make a row of the big dots one next to the other. Then build up the frosting with middle size dotting tool and fill it up. Repeat that for all the fingers where you have a cupcakes. Add another white dot on the top of the frosting if needed for sharper top and more realistic look. The nail polish you use for frosting should be white/off white and super opaque (perfectly 1 layer) as you just want to do this once. For that I used white stamping nail polish by Konad, as I don't own super opaque white polish just yet.

6. Using dotting tools, add up irregular layer of frosting on the middle nail as well.

7.And now it's time for sprinkles!!! Use the smallest dotting tool you have, and add up as many sprinkles as you like! I like a lot!!! Start with two colours and build up the sprinkles layer gradually. Don't worry if you over-layer too many sprinkles, cause there is NEVER too many sprinkles, that's what sprinkles are for :)) !!! Anyway, I also sprinkled the middle finger, and using the same colours I did the large dots/sprinkles all over the thumb as well (using large dotting tool).
For sprinkles I used: Sweet Tart by Revlon (pink), and Miss Sporty Clubbing Colour: 330 (mint), 328 (purple), 326 (coral) and 301 (yellow).

8. A cherry on top is a must!!!

Using large dotting tool, add a single dot of red nail polish on top of the cupcake to imitate the cherry, I used 549 Red Passion by Max Factor.
When all the layers are dry, seal everything with the top coat for better protection.

And Taa Dahhh!!!
Cupcakes nails are ready!!!!
